Salma El Baradie

Salma brings extensive experience working with underprivileged and marginalized populations, specializing in trauma and recovery. Her client base primarily consists of adult individuals, and she utilizes an integrative therapeutic approach designed to alleviate emotional distress and resolve internal conflicts. This is accomplished by addressing clients' thought patterns, emotional experiences, and behavioral responses. While her practice is rooted in Existential Therapy, she also incorporates elements of Compassion-Focused Therapy to enhance the therapeutic process.

With over ten years of experience, Salma has supported individuals navigating concerns related to anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, gender and sexuality, sexual trauma, and gender-based violence.

Passionate about helping people find meaning in their lives, Salma is dedicated to guiding clients towards living more authentically, in alignment with their core values. She views the therapeutic process as a transformative journey of self-discovery, where individuals can recognize and reshape unhelpful cognitive and behavioral patterns, ultimately fostering healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and relating to others.

Salma holds a masters degree in Health Psychology from Leiden University and is currently pursuing her doctorate in Counselling Psychology with the New School for Psychotherapy and Counselling in the UK.
